As part of our commitment to continued innovation, we’ve introduced several changes and technological advancements to the ACCA Qualification, specifically around exam delivery.

To enable you to continue your exam journey during challenging and unprecedented times, we engaged the latest technology and revolutionised our exam offering in 2020, significantly accelerating the roll-out of exams at home via remote invigilation (RI).

RI has enabled thousands of students to continue their studies and be successful in their exams. We’ll continue to offer RI as a solution to the various exam centre restrictions we are still currently facing in some countries.

And, since March 2020, we’ve continued to extend our digital offering by replacing paper exams with computer-based exams (CBEs) for Strategic Professional level. Find out when Strategic Professional CBEs will be available in your country.

To ensure we fully support your learning throughout the pandemic, we've refined and developed more tools and resources than ever:

The CBE practice platform - enabling you to become completely familiar with the live exam environment to help you prepare for Applied Skills and Strategic Professional exams. Exam standard content is available on-demand and allows you to save and mark responses, as well as track your progress.

Learning Community - it’s never been easier to get to know your fellow students with the improved Learning Community. Share tips, ideas, and questions with your peers from across the globe.

InSession - the countdown email series of tailored study support to give you the best chance of exam success. We worked to refine this even more, to ensure students making the move to RI and SP CBE were fully prepared.

Compass - our new interactive study planning tool that allows you to visualise the next year of your exam journey.

In order to support these innovations and other developments, our exam fees will be increasing as of the December 2021 exam session, which is now open. Please note, these increases will not affect September exam entry prices and you’ll still be able to take advantage of reduced rates by booking before the early entry deadlines.

We'll continue to develop and innovate in the coming year to ensure you have the edge in today’s ever-changing market place.
